                        Current Research: incorporating molecular biology and electrophysiology in the structure/function analyses of plant and animal ion transport systems.

                        Analyses of the interactions between cannabinoid receptors and their ligands in search of efficacious pharmocological agents.

                        Thesis Research: utilizing a molecular biology approach towards elucidating the role of apoplastic invertase -in higher plants- in the partitioning of assimilated carbon to importing organs
